What adventure motorcycles do you ride?

For over 10 years, probably getting on for 15, I’ve hosted your trip reports on my AM website. It makes an interesting comparison, especially to what bikes are ridden, how they performed and what people thought of the places they rode through, best days, worst things and so on.

There are nearly 900 reports, most are big trips in the AMZ, but quite a few are touring in Europe, North America and Australia. As you may know, the better ones feature in the book.

The stats on what you ride are below. No great surprises; 1 in 4 choose a BMW or a Honda and only 1 in 900 went for a Commando, a Buell, a Jawa or a Chinese Thing. You can submit your own report here.

BMW                25.7%
